How is a Design FIX rope post fixed to the floor?
The base of the floor-mounted rope post is drilled and screwed directly into the flooring, like any lasting fixture. A cover then hides the screws for a clean finish. Once installed, the post stays permanently anchored.
Can the Design FIX range be installed outdoors?
Yes. The powder coating and the brushed stainless steel versions withstand heavy traffic and demanding environments. For outdoor use, favour the most robust finishes and a careful anchoring in a hard floor.
What is the difference between Design FIX and Design Unfix?
The fixed rope post Design FIX stays screwed to the floor permanently, for a walkway that never changes. The Design Unfix range keeps an anchored socket but lets the post lift out without tools, when you occasionally need to clear the passage entirely.
Which finishes and colours are available?
The range comes in seven finishes: silver, matte black, brushed stainless steel, burgundy, lacquered white, British racing green and champagne. The lacquered tones follow stable RAL references for a lasting match with your setting.
Is the rope supplied with the post?
The rope is chosen separately, as an accessory, so length and colour match your setup. You then build a perfectly coordinated set with the other rope posts on your site.
