European Barrier Post Manufacturer
Designed, assembled and tested in our workshops. Not a reseller - a manufacturer.
Our story
Potelet® was founded in 2011 on a simple conviction: professionals equipping hotels, museums, airports or events deserve equipment built to last, manufactured in Europe and supported by a real after-sales service.
More than a decade later, we have equipped over 15,000 clients across Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Luxembourg and beyond. Hotel managers, event organisers, museum curators, logistics managers - all share the same requirement: equipment that does not break, installs without surprises, and remains repairable years later.
Our workshops and warehouse
Our workshops and warehouse are located in Europe, close to the German border. This location is no coincidence: it places us at the heart of the European industrial fabric, while retaining full control of our production chain and stock.
Everything that leaves our facility is designed, assembled and tested on-site: frames, belt-reel mechanisms, belts, stainless steel or powder-coat finishes, custom markings. No subcontracting outside Europe.
Directly adjacent to the production lines, our warehouse centralises the most in-demand ranges and a spare parts stock that extends well beyond the commercial lifespan of each product. This is what allows us to dispatch next working day for in-stock items, and maintain effective after-sales service ten years after a range is discontinued.
This proximity has a concrete benefit: a damaged post is never simply "discarded". A torn belt, a jammed mechanism, a dented tube - everything can be replaced with spare parts available in the warehouse, with references we keep for ten years after end of production.

Frequently asked questions
Are your products truly manufactured in Europe?
Yes. Design, assembly, testing and custom marking are all carried out in our European workshops. The steel we use is of European origin and we have no subcontracting outside Europe.
What are lead times for a standard order?
For ranges available in our workshops, dispatch is next working day, with delivery within 48 to 72 hours across Europe. An "In stock" category is dedicated to immediately available products.
How much does custom logo marking on a belt cost?
The rate is 10 euros per linear metre of printed belt. Production lead time is 1 to 2 weeks after proof approval. Multi-colour and embroidered baselines are available on request.
Why pay more for a post from a manufacturer?
Over ten years, the total cost is lower. The lifetime mechanical warranty, spare parts availability and in-house repairability avoid replacing a post at the first incident. For 50 posts in a hotel, the initial price difference is recovered from the very first belt replacement.
Can I order colours or finishes not in the catalogue?
Yes - it is one of our strengths. Exclusive colour belts, specific RAL powder-coated finishes, special lengths, dual belts, bespoke velvet ropes: all produced in our workshops, from a reasonable minimum quantity (generally 10 units).
Do you sell to private individuals?
No, we sell exclusively to professionals and organisations: hotels, restaurants, museums, events, retail, administrations, industry. All orders are invoiced to a business entity.
How do I get a quote?
The simplest way is to email us at info@potelet.eu or via our contact form. We respond within 24 working hours with an itemised quote including volume discounts, marking options and lead times.
A bespoke project?
