Custom Quote - Barrier Posts
When the catalogue is not enough - exclusive colour, non-standard dimension, bespoke finish - we manufacture it.
Genuine bespoke, not just a catalogue option
A manufacturer who says "bespoke" but simply offers 3 predefined finish colours is not bespoke - it is just a catalogue. At Potelet®, bespoke means going back into the workshop to produce what cannot be found anywhere else. A belt in a specific Pantone colour, a taller-than-standard post, a rope in a natural fibre, a metallic finish not in the European catalogue - anything you cannot buy off the shelf, we manufacture.
This capability rests on three things: an in-house design studio that validates feasibility, direct relationships with our raw material suppliers (steel, fabric, paint), and the flexibility of a workshop that produces short runs without disproportionate set-up costs.

Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for a bespoke project?
This varies depending on the type of customisation: 5 units for a non-catalogue dimension, 10 units for an exclusive colour (powder coating), 10 metres for a bespoke rope. Below these thresholds, the set-up cost makes the project economically difficult - but we always review feasibility on a case-by-case basis (particularly for prestige projects).
How long does it take to receive a quote?
48 hours for an itemised quote on a standard project (colour + dimension). Up to 5 working days for a complex project requiring design studio validation (exotic finishes, architectural integration). Always free of charge and without commitment.
Can I have a physical sample before ordering?
Yes - and it is strongly recommended for new colours and finishes. Sample cost: approximately 80 to 150 EUR depending on complexity, deductible from the final order if production goes ahead. Sample lead time: 1 to 2 weeks.
Are your Pantone colours certified?
Yes - we work with Pantone-certified powder coating manufacturers who provide a certificate of conformity with each delivery. For Pantone Plus colours (metallic, fluorescent), please allow an additional 2-3 week lead time.
Can you reproduce a finish seen on a competitor's product?
In most cases yes, starting from a reference photo or a physical sample. We identify the technique (powder coating, anodising, galvanising, gold leaf) and reproduce it within our quality constraints. Lead time and cost vary depending on complexity.
Is there a warranty on bespoke pieces?
Yes - the same warranty as on our standard catalogue: lifetime on the mechanism, 5 years on the finish. Spare parts are available for 10+ years after delivery.
Can I order 1 prototype then 50 units in a second order?
Yes - many clients proceed this way: prototype validated internally, then series order after approval from the final decision-maker. The prototype retains its initial price (higher than series production), and the second order moves to the standard series price.
A project outside the catalogue?
Describe your requirement (colour, dimension, finish, volume) - itemised quote within 48 business hours.
