What is the difference between Authorised Reseller and Official Distributor status?
An Authorised Reseller has access to reseller pricing and the full range, but without territorial protection or priority treatment. An Official Distributor has a formal territorial agreement, the best pricing tier, a dedicated account manager and is listed on potelet.eu as the go-to contact in their zone.
Can I apply for Official Distributor status from the start?
In some cases yes - if you have proven volume history in related sectors and a strong business case. Most distributors start at Authorised Reseller level and progress to Preferred Partner within 12 months. Official Distributor status is typically granted after 6-12 months of active partnership.
Is there an exclusivity fee?
There is no fee for territorial exclusivity. It is granted based on volume commitment and sustained performance. The exclusivity clause is included in the partner agreement at no additional cost to you.
Can I resell on marketplaces (Amazon, etc.)?
Marketplace resale is permitted under specific conditions to protect price integrity. We discuss the terms of marketplace sales during the programme negotiation. Our primary concern is maintaining the value of the Potelet® brand in the market.
